An Encounter has two components.

First, you’ll receive a carefully curated box in the mail containing an authentic book, a snack, a secret ingredient, and a lifestyle item, all themed to a particular country.

Second, you’ll take a virtual, interactive tour of the country over the course of four weeks through our guided program, sent to you as a printable pdf.

The items in the box and the virtual tour go hand in hand to immerse you in the stories, scents, sounds and tastes of a new country every month.

Monthly and quarterly Encounters are available for adults and older teens, middle graders and kids.
